Bearsden Fiddlers were formed in 1972, and from relatively small beginnings,

now have a thriving membership of around 50 players. We meet to practise

every Tuesday evening at Cairns Church, and also play a number of gigs

throughout the season from September to May.

We have an annual Fiddlers Spring Concert, held in Cairns Church

We are a group of multi-instrumentalists who enjoy playing

Traditional Scottish Music from past and present as well as exploring other music from around the world.

Available to play at concerts for Community Groups and Fundraising Events.

Our conductor is Allan MacDougall. Allan plays a number of instruments and very much enjoys arranging the music for Bearsden Fiddlers.

He hopes to help the players play as well as possible and to make sure that while doing this, they, and our audiences have an enjoyable time.
